Cookie Policy

This page describes the cookies and browser storage this site actually uses today. The advertising sections are generated from the site's live advertising configuration, so they cannot claim more or less than what is really running.

What we mean by cookies

"Cookies" here covers cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies that read or write information on your device. This page lists them by purpose rather than by individual key name, because the exact keys change as features are added.

Strictly necessary storage

Used to deliver the site securely and to keep an optional signed-in session working. If you create an account to follow teams, an authentication token is stored in your browser. Without this storage the account features cannot function. It is not used for advertising.

Preference storage

Local storage remembers your theme (light or dark), your timezone for kickoff times, your language and the teams you follow when signed out. This stays on your device, is never used to identify you, and can be cleared through your browser settings at any time.

Analytics

Where aggregate analytics are enabled, they tell us which pages get used and where errors occur. Analytics is kept separate from advertising: analytics data is not used to select, target or personalise ads.

Advertising

Google AdSense advertising technology is present on this site under publisher ID ca-pub-3907712830422560, loaded as part of the site's advertising integration and verification. No ad units are configured at the time of writing, so no display advertising is served on any page.

Because that technology is present, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage and identifiers where applicable, for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention, security and — where permitted and consented to — advertising personalisation. We set no advertising cookies of our own.

Actual behaviour is not the same for every visitor: it depends on your geographic location, your consent choices, your browser and device settings, Google's configuration and whether an eligible advertisement is requested at all. We therefore do not claim that advertising cookies are always placed, nor that they are never placed.

Where consent is required, it is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform before advertising cookies or identifiers are used for personalisation. You can read how Google uses advertising data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and manage your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.

Consent storage

No consent banner is shown at the moment because there is nothing on the site that requires consent beyond strictly necessary and preference storage. Once advertising is enabled, a consent choice will be stored in your browser so you are not asked repeatedly.

Managing storage yourself

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site storage. Blocking strictly necessary storage may sign you out or reset preferences, but all football content — predictions, fixtures, live scores, statistics and articles — remains available either way.
